What’s On In North Norfolk This Easter 2024

With so many wonderful places to visit on our doorstep, there is an abundance of choice to keep the kids busy throughout the Easter Holidays. The Easter bunny seems to have a very full diary so we've pulled together a handy guide of 'What's On' in the area to make the most of all the North Norfolk Coast has to offer!

🐣Drove Orchards (28th March – 1st April)

🐣 Wroxham Barns Easter Egg-stravaganza (28th March to 1st April)

Two Egg-cellent events during the Easter holidays. Good old fashioned family fun at the CHOCCY WOCCY WEEKEND. Followed by NEW LIFE ON THE FARM (from 2nd to 14th April).

🐣 ROARR (28th March – 1st April)

Dippy’s Egg-cellent Easter!! Forget the bunnies, this Easter, ROARR! – the UK’s largest dinosaur-themed adventure Park based in Norfolk – is launching a special mega-sized ROARR-some Top Trumps Trail. The fun doesn’t stop there; Dippy, ROARR!’s very own friendly Diplodocus, is throwing the doors open to his new Chocolate Factory Sensory Amazing-Maze.

🐣 Bewilderwood (28th March – 14th April)

A magical day filled with egg-citing activities and curious characters. Hop to it and meet the Easter Bunny at the Storytelling Stage, and find out what those Pesky Bunnies have been up to! Bounce along the trail to find where those Pesky Bunnies have hidden their Easter eggs! If you can find them all you’ll win an eggscellent prize! Jump into Easter-themed arts & crafts at the Big Hat and make your very own bunny ears!

🐣 Pensthorpe Natural Park (28 March to 14 April)

Get ready for a cracking time at Pensthorpe’s Easter Hols trail! Find GIANT 4 foot tall, 3D eggs around the park on an immersive and multi-sensory trail. On your day out, you can also enjoy Easter crafts, an Explorer Tour, pond dipping, flamingo talks, nature tables, indoor and outdoor play, den building, walking routes and lots of chicks and goslings to meet!

🐣 Eggsplore Norfolk with Norfolk Passport – (28th March to 14th April)

Spanning from Wells-next-the-Sea down to Diss, Easter eggs are hidden in top Norfolk attractions as well as publicly, allowing everyone in Norfolk to find one. Whilst doing this, you can be in with a chance of winning a BIG prize, as prizes worth over £1500 are being given away! Embark on a thrilling journey through picturesque landscapes, charming towns, and hidden gems and seek out colourful Easter eggs scattered throughout Norfolk.

🐣 Holkham Hall (30 March to 14 April 2024)

You can enjoy a special Springtime Superheroes event, including trails in the Walled Garden and Holkham Hall, entertaining performances and stories, arts and crafts and lots more besides. Plus, a chance to fill up and feast with the Spring Market on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April. You’ll find over 50 local and regional artisan producers showcasing their very yummiest food, and beautiful gifts and crafts.

🐣 Briarfields, Titchwell (Sat 30th and Sun 31st March)

EASTER FAMILY FUN WEEKEND – fun for the whole family including Bouncy castle, Face painting, Easter egg scavenger hunt, KIDS EAT FREE – Saturday only (12pm til 5pm), Live music (Saturday only).

🐣 Sandringham (Easter Sunday 31 March, 10.30am-2.30pm)

EASTER EGG TRAIL IN AID OF THE EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE. Find hidden clues around the Royal Parkland and enjoy a chocolate egg at the end of the trail provided by Kinnerton Confectionery. Proceeds to support EAAA with 10% of proceeds used for other charitable needs identified by Priory Rotary Club.

🐣 Magical Mermaid Evenings at SEA LIFE Hunstanton (from 5pm until 8pm on 2nd & 3rd April)

Explore the full aquarium at these limited, intimate evening sessions and you’ll also get a rare chance to marvel at the real-life mermaids as they join our blacktip sharks in our ocean tank for a magical time! If you catch their eye, you may even get a mer-mazing greeting!

🐣 Sandringham (Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thurs 11th April)

Easter Family Forest Fun. Choose from a morning or afternoon session, times are 10-11.30am, 12-1.30pm or 2-3.30pm. The popular traditional Forest School for all the family set in the woodlands adjacent to the Play Area. Natural play with bugs, dens, games, watercolours, mud kitchens, crafts, hammocks, tools, games, slackline, campfires (if conditions allow). Guided by Nana Lavender an experienced teacher.

🐣 National Trust Easter Egg Hunts (Selected Dates)

Easter trails at many National Trust properties in Norfolk for just £3. Before you set off, you’ll receive a trail sheet to guide you on your adventure and Easter bunny ears to wear along the way. Don’t forget that you can choose from either a chocolate egg or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg.
